Bulky waste is collected every 4 weeks all year. It must be placed on the pavement no earlier than the evening before and no later than 7:00 on collection day, divided into sorted piles.
The environmental box is used for hazardous waste and small electronics. It must be booked for collection each time it is full and placed next to the bins before 7:00 on collection day.
Gentofte Recycling Station is located at Ørnegårdsvej 15. Residents can deliver more than 40 waste types, including garden waste, hazardous waste, electronics, construction waste and items for reuse.
The recycling station includes a book exchange cabinet and a house for furniture and items suitable for reuse. Staff may set aside suitable materials so they can be reused.
Construction and demolition waste may need to be reported before delivery. Construction waste, pressure-treated wood, porcelain, ceramics, mirrors and similar items must not be placed out as bulky waste.
