Search for an item and see which Danish waste category it should be sorted into. Try pizza box, coffee filter or battery.
Dirty plastic should be sorted as:

Plastic
If emptied or lightly cleaned
Plast

Residual waste
If very dirty
Restaffald
Plastic packaging should be emptied before being sorted as plastic. It does not need to be perfectly clean, but very dirty plastic with food, oil or other residue should go in residual waste if it cannot be emptied or wiped.
If your municipality does not collect this category at your home, you can do this.
Alternative: Municipal recycling centre, local collection point or shared collection station. Do not automatically use residual waste.
There is no general substitute category. The municipality must provide a residual-waste scheme; contact it if you cannot access one.
