Affald & Genbrug handles waste services

In Fredericia Municipality, Affald & Genbrug handles waste services. Their website provides information about waste schemes, collection calendars, recycling centres, prices, business waste and construction waste.

Two recycling centres

Fredericia has two recycling centres at Bundgårdsvej 2 and Nordre Kobbelvej 9. Residents can deliver sorted waste there, and the sites have rules for access, number-plate reading and 24-hour access options.

Reuse centre, shop and Frede

At Nordre Kobbelvej there is a reuse centre and reuse shop. The shop sells second-hand items, while Frede is a free reuse area where residents can take selected items home.

Hazardous waste at the recycling centre

Hazardous waste must be delivered to the dedicated area at the recycling centre. Explosive waste, except under special rules for fireworks, must not be delivered to the recycling centre.

Construction waste

For demolition, renovation or maintenance, construction waste must be reported at least two weeks before work begins if more than 1 tonne of waste is generated. Smaller amounts can be delivered to the recycling centre.
