Municipal waste rules
In Hillerød Municipality, household waste is sorted into ten trash categories, including food waste, plastic, paper, metal, glass, cardboard, food and beverage cartons, hazardous waste and textiles. Residents receive containers for the different trash categories, which are collected at different intervals.
