In Høje-Taastrup Municipality, residents sort waste into ten fractions, including food waste, paper, cardboard, metal, glass, plastic, food cartons, hazardous waste, textile waste and residual waste. The Perfect Waste app helps residents scan products and find sorting guidance. The recycling centre accepts electronics, hazardous waste and other waste types, and bulky waste can be ordered for collection.
HTK Forsyning has taken over household waste handling in Høje-Taastrup Municipality. Questions about collection, sorting, bulky waste, garden waste, the recycling centre and fees are therefore handled by HTK Forsyning.
Glass, metal, cardboard, paper, plastic and food/beverage cartons must be sorted separately from daily household waste. Extra plastic and food/beverage cartons from homes with two-compartment containers can be handed in at the recycling centre.
HTK Forsyning collects bulky waste at the roadside ten times a year. Bulky waste covers discarded household items and must be sorted, packed correctly and placed by the road by collection day.
Høje-Taastrup Recycling Centre at Lervangen 1-3 accepts more than 30 waste types, but not residual waste or food waste. Hazardous waste must be handed to staff in securely closed packaging labelled with its contents.
The municipality's previous SMS service and Affaldsportal have closed, and collection notifications are now provided through Perfect Waste. HTK Forsyning also provides self-service for collection dates and waste problems.
