Fors A/S handles waste services

In Holbæk Municipality, Fors A/S handles waste collection for private households and operates the recycling centres by agreement with the municipality.

Fors A/S provides self-service and a waste app where residents can see collection dates, contact Fors, order bulky waste collection and find information about local recycling centres.

Bulky waste, garden waste and environmental box

Bulky waste, garden waste and hazardous waste are handled through Fors A/S. Textile waste can be handed in at recycling centres as needed or together with bulky waste collection.

Recycling centres

The recycling centres accept sorted waste that is not food waste or residual waste. Holbæk, Tornved, Tølløse, Jernløse and Orø are part of the municipality’s recycling-centre network.

Self-service at recycling centres

Several recycling centres can be used with self-service after registration. Hazardous waste may only be handed in at staffed recycling centres during staffed opening hours.

Direct reuse

At Tølløse Recycling Centre there is a reuse shop and reuse concepts that help usable items move on to new owners instead of becoming waste.
