Sorting guidance
Kerteminde Forsyning provides a web sorting guide and separate guidance about bins, the environmental box and the three local delivery sites.
Bulky waste
Kerteminde has no bulky-waste collection. Furniture, appliances and other large items must be sorted and taken to the Kerteminde or Langeskov recycling centre.
Hazardous waste
The full environmental box is labelled with the address and placed in front of the bins for exchange. Hazardous waste can also be taken to a staffed recycling centre.
Garden waste and composting
Garden waste goes to a recycling centre. Suitable green waste can be composted at home, retaining nutrients in the garden and avoiding transport.
