Municipal waste rules
In Norddjurs Municipality, household waste is sorted into fractions such as food waste, residual waste, paper, cardboard, metal, plastic, glass and textiles. Reno Djurs handles collection and operates recycling stations for larger items and hazardous waste. Food waste is collected separately or in divided containers. Containers must not be overfilled, and hazardous waste should be stored safely, for example in environmental boxes collected when needed.
