Municipal waste rules
In Rødovre Municipality, household waste is sorted into ten fractions, including food waste, paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, metal, food and beverage cartons, textiles, residual waste and hazardous waste. Homes use divided containers for food and residual waste, while apartment buildings often use larger shared containers. Hazardous waste and electronics must be delivered to the recycling station. Bio bags are provided for food waste, and the municipality works to increase recycling under its waste plan.
