Municipal waste rules
In Rudersdal Municipality, household waste is sorted into ten fractions, including paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, metal, food and beverage cartons, textiles, food waste, residual waste and hazardous waste. Containers vary by housing type, with divided containers for single-family homes and shared containers for apartment buildings. Hazardous waste and textiles are delivered to recycling stations, and residents are encouraged to use recycling stations for electronics and other recyclable waste.
