Municipal waste rules
In Skive Municipality, household waste is sorted into ten trash categories: food waste, residual waste, paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, metal, textiles, food and beverage cartons and hazardous waste. Nomi4s handles collection and provides sorting guidance. Food waste is turned into biogas, while metal, glass, plastic and paper are recycled. Hazardous waste must be delivered to recycling stations, and collection dates and sorting instructions are available online.

Municipal waste service information
Sorting guidance
Nomi4s' waste guide for houses and holiday homes describes local bins, access requirements, prices and delivery options. The app's search function helps with specific items and shows the nearest relevant recycling centre.
Bulky waste
Private households and holiday homes can subscribe to up to six booked collections of bulky and garden waste per year. Bulky waste must be separated as individual items, bundled or placed in clear sacks; construction waste, timber waste and hazardous waste are excluded.
Hazardous waste
Hazardous waste must be delivered to a Nomi4s recycling centre and is not included in bulky-waste collection. Batteries, chemicals, paint and light bulbs must be kept separate and handed to the site's dedicated reception; medicine goes to a pharmacy.
Garden waste and composting
Garden waste can be included in the optional service with up to six annual call-outs; simultaneous collection with bulky waste counts as one call-out. Garden waste can also be delivered around the clock at the dedicated reception areas at Skive and Kåstrup recycling centres.
