Practical waste information

Municipal waste rules

In Skive Municipality, household waste is sorted into ten fractions: food waste, residual waste, paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, metal, textiles, food and beverage cartons and hazardous waste. Nomi4s handles collection and provides sorting guidance. Food waste is turned into biogas, while metal, glass, plastic and paper are recycled. Hazardous waste must be delivered to recycling stations, and collection dates and sorting instructions are available online.
