Search for an item and see which Danish waste category it should be sorted into. Try pizza box, coffee filter or battery.
Bathroom shower curtain should be sorted as:

Residual waste
If plastic-coated, mouldy or heavily soiled
Restaffald

Textile waste
If clean and dry textile
Tekstilaffald

Recycling centre
If made of PVC, follow local instructions
Genbrugsplads
Shower curtains usually go in residual waste, especially if plastic-coated, PVC or mouldy. Clean dry textile curtains may be accepted as textile waste locally. Remove metal rings if easy.
If your municipality does not collect this category at your home, you can do this.
There is no general substitute category. The municipality must provide a residual-waste scheme; contact it if you cannot access one.
Alternative: Recycling centre or municipal textile container. Only wet, mouldy or heavily soiled textiles belong in residual waste.
