About this item
Candles, wax and candle stubs should usually be sorted as residual waste. Empty metal cups from tea lights can be sorted as metal if the wax has been removed. Battery-powered LED candles are electronic waste, and batteries should be removed and handed in separately.

If your municipality does not collect this category at your home, you can do this.
Residual waste
There is no general substitute category. The municipality must provide a residual-waste scheme; contact it if you cannot access one.
Metal
Alternative: Municipal recycling centre, local collection point or shared collection station. Do not automatically use residual waste.
