Fur and fur clothing should be donated if still usable. If damaged, it can only be sorted as textile waste if clean, dry and accepted locally. Wet, mouldy, very dirty or chemically contaminated fur should go in residual waste. Real fur, faux fur and lined garments can be difficult to recycle, so local guidance matters.
