Search for an item and see which Danish waste category it should be sorted into. Try pizza box, coffee filter or battery.
Fireworks should be sorted as:

Recycling centre
If unused or not discharged
Genbrugsplads

Residual waste
If fully discharged and cooled
Restaffald
Take unused or unignited fireworks to a recycling centre that accepts them; do not put them in residual waste. Fully spent and cooled fireworks may go in residual waste according to local guidance. Ask the recycling centre where unused fireworks can be handed in if unsure.
If your municipality does not collect this category at your home, you can do this.
There is no general substitute category. The municipality must provide a residual-waste scheme; contact it if you cannot access one.
