Search for an item and see which Danish waste category it should be sorted into. Try pizza box, coffee filter or battery.
Fibreglass wallpaper should be sorted as:

Recycling centre
Larger amounts or construction waste
Genbrugsplads

Residual waste
Small clippings
Restaffald
Fibreglass wallpaper should usually be taken to a recycling centre, especially in larger amounts or as renovation waste. It contains fibres and binders and does not belong in glass, paper or textile recycling. Small dry offcuts may often go in residual waste, but dusty or larger amounts should be packed safely and handled locally.
If your municipality does not collect this category at your home, you can do this.
There is no general substitute category. The municipality must provide a residual-waste scheme; contact it if you cannot access one.
Mit Affald helps you understand waste sorting in Denmark, whether you need to look up a single item, read about a waste category or find local information for a municipality. Choose a municipality to see local sorting rules, and use the collection calendar to see upcoming pickups at your address if supported.
Use the search field above to see how an item should be sorted, browse the main Danish waste categories, find municipality contact details and local waste rules, or locate recycling centres across Denmark.
You can also get the sorting guide for iPhone or Android and keep it with you on the go.
