Receipts are usually sorted as residual waste because many are made from thermal paper. Plain clean paper receipts can follow local paper recycling rules.
If the category is not available locally
If your municipality does not collect this category at your home, you can do this.
Residual waste
There is no general substitute category. The municipality must provide a residual-waste scheme; contact it if you cannot access one.

Alternative: Municipal recycling centre, local collection point or shared collection station. Do not automatically use residual waste.
